I discovered my passion for design over twenty years ago while studying for my BTech in Graphic Design at University Arts London. Later, I pursued a Photography degree at Falmouth University in Cornwall, where I obtained a 2:1.
With my extensive experience of over fifteen years in the design, pictorial, and artwork fields, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. I have successfully delivered a variety of projects incorporating graphic design, photography, video production, and animation, working across print and digital mediums. My skills have helped several businesses to develop a unique brand identity, leading various design and branding projects. I take pride in ensuring consistency of style and design across all channels, by providing art direction for photoshoots and creating comprehensive brand guidelines. Collaborating closely with various teams including brand, marketing, UX, and E-commerce, alongside external partners, I focus on developing forward-thinking ideas that align with the brand's identity and current visual trends while respecting budget constraints. My success in delivering projects, ranging from social media content, packaging, and UI design to corporate email templates and brochures, has proven that I am an effective and persuasive designer who can deliver results that exceed expectations.
I have an in-depth understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I specialize in photo retouching and have almost two decades of experience in this field. I strive to deliver high-quality work while ensuring that deadlines are met. With my skills and knowledge, I am confident that I can make a positive contribution to your project.
Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working in various industries, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities. I have worked in tourism for a travel company where I had the chance to work with a broad range of summer and winter destinations across Europe, North America, and parts of Asia. Additionally, I have worked with a commercial recycling business, where I learned the importance of sustainability and the role businesses play in reducing waste and improving the environment. In the recruitment industry, I was able to develop my skills in identifying and attracting top talent. I have also worked with a premium baby food service, where I saw first-hand the importance of providing high-quality, nutritious food for infants and young children. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with one of the largest family entertainment companies for visitor attractions and theme parks globally. My role allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the entertainment industry and the unique challenges and opportunities that come with it, from creating an immersive and engaging experience for visitors to designing large-scale trade event marketing branding. Finally, I have had the privilege of working with small independent businesses, where I learned the importance of being adaptable and agile in a constantly evolving business environment. Overall, my diverse work experience has given me a unique perspective and skill set that I am confident will be an asset to any organization I work with.
